Deadliest Warrior Chops up Retail

The compilation retail box of the first two Deadliest Warrior games has officially arrived at stores everywhere- and it's packing some extras.

Even if you downloaded both previous offerings from the Spike TV based game series, Deadliest Warrior: The Game and Deadliest Warrior: Legends, you still might want to nab this boxed edition since there's a decent amount of new stuff here. Oh, and zombies. Did I mention the zombies?

Among the add-ons:

  • The brand new “Graveyard” arena exclusive to “Deadliest Warrior: Ancient Combat”
  • 30 new weapons, including a “Lockbar Axe” for William Wallace, the “Monk’s Spade” for Sun Tzu and a “Tsonga Battle Axe” for Shaka Zulu
  • Hidden zombie mode allows players to keep on fighting even headless, armless and torso-less
  • Never-before-released episodes of the show exclusive to “Deadliest Warrior: Ancient Combat”
Honestly, it's probably worth it to get this just for the zombie mode. The thought of a pair of legs vs some guy's torso just plain old makes me smile. I mean that's just funny! ...Isn't it?

Deadliest Warrior: Ancient Combat is most definitely rated very, very, 'M' and is available now for the asking price of $29.99 on the Xbox 360 and PS3.
